Never A Dull Moment

Stella was an inquisitive little cutie the day I brought her home from the Humane Society (i.e. full of it, but cute enough to get away with anything.)

Two years later, she is still an inquisitive cutie.

Last weekend a friend we visited had the audacity to put peanut butter in a mouse trap and set it on the floor of the garage. Stella loves peanut butter, but she didn’t like the mouse trap clipped to her face!
Shortly after hearing the SNAP of the mouse trap, I heard a SPLASH! Annie had decided to dive into the pool even though it was closed for the season. Luckily, the pool cover held her weight and we were able to get her out unharmed. I shudder to think how we would have gotten her out if she had slipped through and become trapped in the water under the cover.

One thing is certain; life is never dull when you have Stella and Annie around!

They are quite the busy two. Like having a couple of toddlers that run you ragged. How is Stella's snout after the mousetrap? They sure are cute though.

Oh we are glad that the pool cover held. We don't want anything to happen to Annie and poor stella I hope her nose is okay.

Thanks grammie and peanut for your concern. Stella was more embarrassed than anything else. I think the trap mostly had her by the face hair. I put peanut butter in her Kong the next morning and she ate it all up, so she didn't suffer from any bad peanut butter association either!
